5. Cancellation and Refunds

Statutory Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

Participants enrolling as consumers have the right to withdraw from the enrollment agreement within 14 calendar days of its conclusion, without giving a reason. Withdrawal must be communicated clearly by email to info@mentor-coaching-education.eu.

Where a participant expressly requests that the Program begin during the withdrawal period, YourCoach may charge a proportionate amount for services already provided at the time of withdrawal, as permitted by applicable consumer law.

The cancellation conditions below apply after the statutory withdrawal period has expired. They do not limit any mandatory consumer rights.

Cancellation by the Participant

  • More than 30 days before the first session: Refund of the amount paid, minus a €150 administration fee.
  • 15 to 30 days before the first session: 50% refund of the Program fee.
  • Less than 15 days before the first session: No refund, but the place may be transferred to a future cohort, subject to availability and written approval from YourCoach.

Cancellation by YourCoach

If YourCoach cancels the Program, participants will receive a full refund of the fees paid. YourCoach is not liable for indirect costs incurred by participants.

  • Participants are expected to participate actively in professional dialogue, reflection, observation exercises and practical activities.
  • Participants must complete the required session-based activities and evaluation exercises.
  • Participants should contact YourCoach before enrollment if they anticipate a scheduling conflict.
  • Where part of a session is missed because of exceptional circumstances, YourCoach may offer an alternative completion activity. Such an alternative is not guaranteed and must be approved by YourCoach in advance or as soon as reasonably possible.
  • A certificate and CCE documentation will only be issued once all completion requirements have been met.

7. Certification and CCE Hours

  • Upon successful completion of the Program, participants receive a YourCoach certificate confirming 10 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) hours in Mentor Coaching Education.
  • These 10 CCE hours satisfy the mentor coach education requirement for the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization Credit for Prior Learning Path.
  • Completion of the Program does not itself confer the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization. Participants must separately meet the applicable ICF credential, mentor coaching experience and coaching skills evaluation training requirements.
  • Participants are responsible for submitting the required certificate and supporting documentation to ICF.
  • All decisions concerning MCS applications are made solely by ICF.
  • Certificates are issued in the participant's name as provided during enrollment.

  • Participants remain responsible for verifying and meeting the current ICF requirements and for their own professional coaching and mentor coaching practice.
  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, YourCoach's liability for direct and foreseeable loss arising from the Program will not exceed the Program fee paid by the participant.
